JAPAN: Nippon Meat Packers posts Q1 net profit of ¥2.16bn
Japan’s Nippon Meat Packers has posted a consolidated net profit of ¥2.16bn (US$18.3m) for the first quarter to the end of June. Pre-tax profit for the quarter was ¥4.52bn, accounting for 22.6% of the company’s full-year profit estimate, on sales of ¥218.6bn, which represents 22.3% of the full-year sales estimate.
