The site doubles the size of Nissin’s National Food Research Institute, the company said. The facility will strengthen Nissin’s technical innovation capabilities, Nissin added.

Nissin revealed the investment was prompted by growing global demand for noodle products. The company is focused on expanding its international sales and has developed noodle products to meet local needs.

Nissin also stressed it must innovate in order to drive growth in its domestic market.

In addition to Nissin’s noodle business, the site will house Nissin’s R&D facilities for its frozen, beverage and confectionery operations.
