Kellogg is rolling out new innovations in Canada as part of its drive to reinvigorate sales in North America.

The company is launching Special K Nourish, previously rolled out in the US. The line includes cereals and bars with “real ingredients” and no artificial colours or flavours, the company said. The cereal includes wheat, rice, quinoa, granola, almonds and real fruit. It is available in two varieties:  Apple, Raspberry & Almond and Coconut, Cranberry & Almond. In snacks, Special K Nourish bars are gluten-free, low in sodium, and contain no artificial flavours or colours, Kellogg added.

Likewise, Kellogg is extending US innovation Mini-Wheats into the Canadian market. The whole grain red wheat cereal is high in fibre and contains “real blueberry pieces” and a vanilla-flavoured drizzle.

Elsewhere, Kellogg is expanding its Pringles brand with the launch of Salsa Fiesta Tortillas.

“As a leader in breakfast and snack products, Kellogg Canada is committed to meeting the evolving tastes and nutritional needs of Canadians,” said Chris Bell, vice president marketing, Kellogg Canada. “We’re excited to introduce these new products and give our customers what they want — real, delicious food that tastes great and is convenient to enjoy.”
