Kellogg is rolling out a number of new cereal products in the UK.
It is debuting its All-Bran cereal into the muesli category. Kellogg's All-Bran High Fibre Muesli will feature two variants: Fruit and Nut and Cranberry and Sultanas.
The All-Bran muesli varieties claim to contain 30% more fibre than the average muesli, with oats, All-Bran shreds, rough barley and fruit inclusions. The product has a RRP of GBP2.99 (US$4.72).
It is also launching porridge versions of its Special K, Crunchy Nut and Coco Pops. The porridges are available in pots and sachets.
Kellogg's commercial marketing director, Jane Ghosh, said: "We’ve identified three dips in porridge penetration. Older children, men aged 17-44 and women aged 17-44. In response to this, we’ve created Coco Pops Porridge, Crunchy Nut Porridge and Special K Super Porridge. We’re bringing strong, recognisable brands to the porridge category in a bid to expand porridge."
The Special K porridges contain barley, oats, rye, wheat flakes and spelt and a selection of fruits, seeds and nuts for added flavour. It features three variants at an RRP of GBP1.99.
