Lamb Weston, the US frozen potato processor, has appointed Robert McNutt to the post of CFO.
McNutt will join Lamb Weston on 16 January. He is the CFO at paper company Expera Spexialty Solutions. Before joining Expera, McNutt was the chief financial officer for Greif, a global industrial packaging company. Before that, McNutt served as chief financial officer at Boise, Inc.
McNutt joins Lamb Weston as the company debuts as a stand-alone, publicly-traded group. Lamb Weston completed its spin-off from ConAgra Foods, which itself became Conagra Brands, earlier this month.
“Robert’s experience leading finance for public companies will serve Lamb Weston well as we embark on our next chapter,” Lamb Weston president and CEO Tom Werner said. “Robert has a wealth of relevant experience driving performance that I know will benefit Lamb Weston.”
John Gehring, interim chief financial officer, will remain in post until the end of January to aide the transition.
