Swedish agri-food group Lantmännen has announced that its chief financial officer Ulf Zenk is to leave the business.
He is to take up the same role at local retail conglomerate Bergendahl & Son, which owns the City Gross supermarket chain and also has interests in areas such as household goods and fashion.
Zenk, who has been at Lantmannen since 2012, leaves the company in October, the company has announced.
Speaking about the move he said: “I am happy and looking forward to the opportunity to return to Skåne and work in the family business Bergendahls, a unique company with great potential, which I have followed closely in my work at Lantmännen.”
The recruitment process for finding a successor at Lantmännen has begun.
In November Lantmännen acquired Australia’s Bakery Du Jour for an undisclosed sum. The transaction for the pastry manufacturer in Melbourne was conducted through the group’s international bakery division, Lantmännen Unibake based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
