Meat producer JSC Samsonas, from Kaunas in Lithuania, has recalled all of its meat products labelled with the Samsono brand from the UK market on a precautionary basis.
The recall, announced yesterday (3 November), is due to possible contamination with high levels of Listeria monocytogenes.

The recalled products include all meat products produced by JSC Samsonas, with EC Approval Number: LT 84-07 EB.
The company said it has issued product recall notices to all importers to advise them of what actions to take if they have purchased the product.
