US fastfood chain Subway has announced the opening of its first location in Luxembourg, a move that the company described as “another important step in the international development” of the Subway chain.
The company said the new restaurant is significant because the Benelux countries are considered to be an area with tremendous growth potential for the Subway brand.
Located in the city of Luxembourg, the country’s capital, the restaurant is owned and operated by a Subway franchisee.
Subway Restaurants has more than 19,300 outlets in 74 countries.
