The Malaysian unit of Swiss food giant Nestlé has said it is confident of another year of double-digit growth in its ice cream sales.

“Our ice-creams are sold in 42 countries, and Malaysia is the fastest-growing market for the group in the past five years,” marketing manager Daniel Lutz was quoted by the Business Times as saying.


Lutz added that although consumption of ice cream in Malaysia is high when compared to countries such as Thailand and the Philippines, it is still around ten times lower than in the US.
