Mexican bread maker Grupo Bimbo is planning to invest US$11.5m in its first frozen bakery products manufacturing facility.
The plant, situated in Lerma, Mexico, will create 180 jobs and make products under the Fripan brand name, reported El Economista.
Fripan, a joint venture between Bimbo and frozen bakery products maker Rich’s Products, is to make frozen and partially baked products such as baguettes.
