Mezzetta is targeting growing home-cooking trends in the US with the launch of Everything Spreads, a line of multi-purpose condiments.
The range comes in four flavours: garlic & parmesan, sun dried tomato & basil, olive and hot chilli pepper.
According to the company, which specialises in glass packed olives and peppers, the range can be used to “elevate every meal”.
“There was a need in the marketplace and we found a way to feed it,” said Jeff Mezzetta, CEO. “More and more meals are being prepared at home and families want a convenient and fresh way to elevate their everyday dishes. With our Everything Spread you can literally use it for everything.”
Mezzetta has secured listings with retailers throughout the US, including Kroger, Safeway, Ralphs and Fred Meyer. The company is also selling Everything Spreads direct to consumers through its website, mezzetta.com.
