Ahold, the Dutch retail giant, has unveiled plans to open two pilot health and beauty stores in Sweden later this week. The stores will trade under the Etos fascia.

Assuming the stores report successful initial trading, the group plans to open a third pilot store in April.
Ahold is the third largest retail and supermarket group in turnover terms, and generates approximately 60% of its sales in the US, where it operates the BI-LO, Giant and Stop & Shop supermarket groups.
