NETHERLANDS: Avebe granted licence for GM field trials
Potato starch company Avebe has been given a licence to carry out field trials of genetically modified potatoes. It is the first time in two and a half years that the Dutch government has given a licence for GM field trials, reported Het Financieele Dagblad.
