Dutch dairy company Campina has appointed Wouter de Bruijn as group director of Campina Netherlands as of 1 April 2004.
De Bruijn, currently group director of the cheese and butter division, will succeed Ton van Elst. De Bruijn has spent six years with Campina, first serving as group director of the yoghurt/desserts division.
“This experience makes him the ideal person to further develop and implement the existing strategy of innovation and improved efficiency for this group,” Campina said.
In connection with the appointment, Campina said it plans to appoint Piet Hilarides as director of Campina Holland Cheese/Campina Passendale, part of the Cheese and Butter Group, as of 1 April 2004. Hilarides and Henri Joosten, director of Campina Buttergold, will together head the cheese and butter division for the time being.
