Dutch nutrition company Royal Numico has decided to integrate its corporate communications and investor relations departments.
Michiel Quarles van Ufford has been appointed as interim director of corporate communications and investor relations. Van Ufford is already active in the Numico organisation as an external consultant. He will fulfil this position until a suitable candidate has been found.
Jan Bennink, CEO of Numico, said: “We will give high priority to the integration of the communication functions within one department in order to strengthen the transparency and consistency in communication. The key objectives are to improve the effectiveness of all communication activities, both externally and internally.”
The newly formed communication department will report directly to Bennink, whilst the investor relations department will functionally report to the CFO, Pim Oomens.
