Dutch retailer Schuitema has appointed Tonn van de Laar as interim chief executive officer with immediate effect.
Van de Laar replaces Bert Roetert, who resigned last week following the completion of the sale of the company to CVC Capital Partners.
Van de Laar, who will leave on 1 September, previously worked as the CEO of rival supermarket retailer Laurus NV, now known as Super de Boer NV.
