Dutch supermarket group Schuitema has posted a 1.7% increase in sales for the third quarter to EUR737m (US$1.05bn).
Turnover for the first 40 weeks of the year was up by 2.1% at EUR2.5bn.
Schuitema also reported that total retail sales at its C1000 supermarkets, which includes both company-owned outlets and franchisees, rose by 2.4% to EUR912m for the quarter and by 2.7% to EUR3.12bn for the 40-week period.
Like-for-like sales at C1000 rose by 1.4% and 1.9% for the third quarter and 40-week period respectively.
Schuitema is 73%-owned by Dutch retail giant Ahold.
