Dutch dairy group Campina has appointed Arthur van Benthem as group director consumer products Europe, with effect from 1 January 2007.
Van Benthem is currently managing director of the Coca-Cola Company’s Korean operation and has previously worked for Unilever and Procter & Gamble. He will succeed Justin Sanders, who has taken over the management of the Consumer Products Europe group (CPE) in recent months in addition to his responsibilities as Campina’s CEO.
From 1 July, Wouter de Bruijn, director of CPE Nederland, will temporarily take over as group director consumer products Europe, allowing Sanders to concentrate fully on his role as CEO.
“I am extremely pleased that Arthur van Benthem will join Campina’s ranks,” Sanders said. “He has demonstrated some examples of entrepreneurship at renowned, international organisations. He is exceptionally suited to the entrepreneurial climate and ambition level of Campina.”
