New Zealand meat processor Affco has said it expects its full-year net profit to more than double compared to the previous year due to a strong third quarter.
The company said in June that it expected to post a full-year profit in excess of the NZ$16m (US$9.98m) reported in the previous year due to strong trading abroad, reported Reuters.
“Following a strong third quarter, Affco’s full year profit is expected to exceed NZ$45m, which will be a record profit in the company’s centenary year,” Affco was quoted as saying.
