New Zealand dairy giant Fonterra Co-operative Group revealed in a statement issued earlier today [Monday] that its Fencepost and RD1 subsidiaries will merge to form Rural Supply Co.
Brian Bilas, currently CEO of Reid Farmers Ltd, will become the MD of Rural Supply Co on 26 November.
The link up will see the continuation of both businesses’ call centres, web sites and rural supply stores; RD1’s 27 AnchorMart outlets and Fencepost’s 21 Town and Country Stores.
