Fonterra Co-operative Group has announced that John Shaskey, managing director of the company’s Fonterra GlobalTrade division, has resigned.
CEO Andrew Ferrier said Shaskey’s knowledge and experience would be missed. “John has made a significant contribution to the industry and to Fonterra,” Ferrier said.
“His leadership in developing and implementing the operating model for our global ingredients business at the time Fonterra was established is a significant achievement.”
Shaskey has been in the dairy industry for 30 years, having begun working with the New Zealand Dairy Board in 1977. He will leave Fonterra at the end of June.
