New Zealand dairy firm Fonterra has appointed a new CFO, according to the executive’s current company.
Cabot Corp., the US-based performance materials group, said today (20 January) that CFO Jonathan Mason had decided to leave the company to join Fonterra.
Mason will leave Cabot on 13 February to take up his new role, the US firm said.
“I thank Jonathan for the leadership he has provided to Cabot’s finance organisation over the last several years,” said Patrick Prevost, Cabot’s president and CEO. “He has done an outstanding job and while I am personally saddened that he is leaving Cabot, I am happy for Jonathan and his family as the position at Fonterra provides him with new opportunities and allows him and his family to return to New Zealand.”
Officials from Fonterra could not be reached for immediate comment.
