PepsiCo has decided to stop selling its Quaker breakfast drinks in another market, a matter of months after pulling the product in the UK.

The US giant has ended the sales of the Quaker Oat Beverage drinks in the US less than a year after introducing the product to the company’s home market.

Asked why PepsiCo had pulled the product, the company provided a short statement.

“Quaker made the decision to discontinue our Oat Beverage product line. As the 142-year-old leader in oats, we are always looking for new ways for people to experience their benefits, and we’re committed to continuing to innovate within the foods and snacks categories across our full portfolio of brands,” PepsiCo said.

In July, PepsiCo announced it was discontinuing its Quaker Oats breakfast drinks in the UK amid poor sales in the category.
