Polish meat processor Beef San SA has revealed yesterday [Thursday] that it has to slash 133 jobs.
The Sanok, southeast Poland-based firm, which currently controls a workforce of 380, initiated debt settlement negotiations with its creditors in July 2002.
According to a report in Parkiet, Beef San reported a net loss of 2.4m Polish zloty (US$577,000) and revenues of 23m zloty (US$5.5m) for its H1 2002. Its total liabilities stand at 14.2m zloty.
