Retail giant Tesco launched its Clubcard loyalty scheme in Poland today (6 August).

The launch is the first roll-out of the scheme in Central Europe, a spokesperson for Tesco told just-food.

The scheme, which was initially trialled in six towns across Poland, will now launch across all its 324 stores nationwide.

“It’s [a Clubcard] similar to the UK, customers earn points when they spend in store, as in the UK. It’s to thank customers for shopping with us and for their loyalty. It is also a reflection of the maturity of our Polish business,” the spokesperson said.

Tesco has 324 stores in Poland with around ten million customers a week.
