Post's Attune to take 100% of brands GMO-free or organic

Post Holdings-owned Attune Foods has committed to moving its granola, cereal and snack products to a GMO-free or USDA-certified organic footing by the end of 2016.

The company said that five of its seven brands are already non-GMO project verified or USDA organic certified. These include Attune brand probiotic chocolate bars, Erewhon cereals, Peace Cereal, Uncle Sam and Willamette Valley Organic Granola Company bulk granolas. The two remaining brands, Sweet Home Farm home-style granolas and Golden Temple bulk granolas, are in the process of submitting products with the Non-GMO Project for future verification.

"At Attune Foods we pride ourselves in providing consumers and retailers with products they can trust to be made with the highest quality ingredients. By meticulously choosing our vendor partners, we ensure our ingredients are USDA Organic Certified and/or Non-GMO Project Verified,” said Attune Foods, director of marketing, Rob Goluba.

“Now that we are close to reaching our internal goal of 100% Non-GMO Project Verified and/or USDA Organic certified on our brands this further shows our commitment to making products that consumers feel good about eating and sharing with their whole family.”
