A new shopping centre on the Bucharest-Pitesti Road will house the first Carrefour supermarket in Romania. Spreading over 15 hectares, the new complex will house a Carrefour supermarket, a shopping arcades, restaurants, service centres, a DIY shop, a petrol station, parking place for 2,000 cars and a McDrive fast food restauraunt.

Carrefour will be joined by other business partners in carrying out this investment project worth about US$50m, which will create the largest shopping centre in Romania.
