Russian meat producer Cherkizovo has declined to comment on “speculative” local reports that it is in talks to acquire the poultry arm of Mosselprom.

According to Russian reports citing multiple “market players”, the meat producer has its sites set on the Moscow-based agri-giant’s poultry business.
