Russian meat producer Cherkizovo has declined to comment on “speculative” local reports that it is in talks to acquire the poultry arm of Mosselprom.
According to Russian reports citing multiple “market players”, the meat producer has its sites set on the Moscow-based agri-giant’s poultry business.
A spokesperson for the group told just-food today (24 February) that the company was unwilling to comment on “market speculation” and insisted that a deal had not been hammered out.
