Swiss food giant Nestlé has bought Russia’s Vologda babyfood factory for an undisclosed sum. The factory, which is Nestlé’s tenth factory in Russia, is the company’s first factory there to produce baby cereals, reported Prime-TASS. Nestlé’s sales in Russia rose 22% in 2002 to US$700m.
