Like-for-like sales at Russian grocery retailer Dixy Group increased for the 2010 year, figures published by the company showed today (26 October).
For the period to the end of December, sales climbed 19.4% to RUR64.73bn (US$2.17bn). In US dollar terms, sales increased 24.7%.
Retail revenue from Dixy stores for the twelve month period amounted to RUR54.39bn, representing a 20.5% increase on 2009.
Retail revenue from Dixy’s Megamart stores grew 14.7% to RUR7.26bn, while sales for the group’s Minimart stores rose 9.1% to RUR2.18bn.
The group opened 124 stores in 2010 compared to 69 in 2009.
