Pesto maker Sacla is launching three recipe base sauces in the UK: Barolo, Cacciatora and Puttanesca.

The company said the innovation is targeting the "create" category as a time-saving meal solution. Sales in the category are currently worth GBP44m (US$67.2m) and are growing at 0.9% year-on-year, the company said. Sacla holds a 57.1% market share and is growing ahead of the market at 6.4% per annum, the Italian food maker added.
