Scandi Standard has appointed Anders Hägg, formerly chief financial officer at Arla Foods in Sweden, to the post of finance chief.

The Nordic chicken producer said Hägg has “extensive experience” from senior positions in the food industry. He has been with Arla since 2010. Previously, he worked at Unilever for 15 years, in several senior positions within finance in different markets and countries. He has an MBA from Gothenburg School of Economics.

“With Anders, we get a very competent and internationally merited leader that together with the team will support Scandi in the expansive growth journey we are on,” commented Leif Bergvall Hansen, Scandi Standard CEO.

Hägg will take up his position no later than December 31, 2016, the company said. He will be based at the group headquarters in Stockholm.
