Swiss chocolate maker Lindt & Sprungli has extended its partnership with trade services firm DKSH in a bid to strengthen its position in Singapore.

DKSH, a market expansion services provider, will provide Lindt with marketing, sales, merchandising, distribution, logistics and back-office services to support the confectioners growth in the market. The two firms began collaborating in Hong Kong 50 years ago during which time the relationship has expanded to China and New Zealand.

Lindt already has a presence in Singapore through a number of retailers which it manages from Hong Kong. However, it said the deal will help fuel this existing growth.

“For over 50 years we have successfully partnered with DKSH in Hong Kong to make Lindt the leading premium chocolate brand in this market,” said Thomas Meier, MD of Lindt Asia Pacific. “Pairing the expertise of our two companies once again for the Singapore market, will fuel the growth of the Lindt business in the Lion City and ultimately delighting Singaporean chocolate lovers with even more of the finest Lindt creations.”
