Peanut producer Oriental Food has said its after tax profit last year is expected to be lower than the CNY11.59m it reported in 2004, according to the AFX Asia news agency.
China-based manufacturer Oriental said this was due to higher administrative costs incurred when it set up an office in Singapore.
The firm will announce its 2005 results next month but company shares are down 7.14%.
