The two companies exchanged US$2m in equity investments in each other on 6 September 2005, representing the completion of the first stage of the alliance. The companies are currently pursuing joint interests in marketing and distribution of food and beverages and product development.


Hain Celestial also said its operations in Louisiana are operating normally after minimal disruption from the effects of Hurricane Katrina.
