Libor Ondrácek, 47, will take the post on 1 September, replacing Frantisek Csivre.

Csivre, 44, has been working for Ahold in Slovakia since 2001 initially in the position o operations director and from 2002 as general director.

“In September, [Csivre] will be leaving our company to pursue a new career,” an Ahold spokesperson told just-food, declining to give any more details.

Ondrácek is at present director of fresh food at Ahold in the Czech Republic.
