
Smithfield Foods is launching a line of Smithfield Dry Seasoned Ribs in the US.
The ribs come pre-seasoned and can be prepared in under two hours, the company said.
Varieties include: southwest style peppercorn, sweet & spicy Memphis BBQ, sweet & tangy Carolina BBQ, sweet & smoky Kansas BBQ city.
"Every region of the country has their own preferred BBQ style, and our new line of Dry Seasoned Ribs has a flavour for everyone," said Dennis Pittman, senior director of corporate communications and public affairs for Smithfield. "They deliver the essence and quality of a meal at your local favourite BBQ restaurant – with the convenience of making them right from your own home."
Smithfield Dry Seasoned Ribs are available in the fresh meat department of supermarkets nationwide.
