Spanish meat and chilled foods group Casa Tarradellas has reported an almost 6% increase in revenue during fiscal 2009.
The company said turnover rose to EUR580m during the year, with the majority of sales – 55% – came from the group’s chilled prepared foods unit.
A spokesperson for the Casa Tarradellas told just-food that the company has made a number of investments over the past year to position it for growth.
These investments include the opening of a pizza production facility and a cured meats site, both in the Barcelona region.
“We are well placed to continue to grow our revenues moving into 2010,” the spokesperson said.
