Spain-based chocolate manufacturer Natra is to launch its Tiger Nut brand in South Africa.

The African nation is the first market for Tiger Nut, which was unveiled at confectionery industry exhibition ISM in January.

The company is producing Tiger Nut, a spin off of its Tiger brand, at its plant in Oñati in Spain.

Tiger chocolate is a brand sold in France and the Middle East. A spokesperson for Natra said Tiger Nut had been “very well received by Middle East and Australian clients” at ISM but the company, so far, has only detailed plans to launch the brand in South Africa.
