Spanish bakery chain Panishop has inaugurated a new dietetic bread and pastries factory in Zaragoza, Spain, a company official told just-food yesterday (16 October).
Panishop invested EUR2.5m (US$3.13m) in building the facility, which makes gluten and sugar-free bread and pastries for diabetics and people with special dietary requirements.

Panishop will sell the new products across its Spanish bakery-shop network.
The Zaragoza-based company also reportedly bought Madrid-based rival Pasticely, but the official would not confirm this rumour to be true.
