US seafood maker StarKist, a subsidiary of the Dongwon Group, is launching a new range of Gourmet Selects tuna pouches.
The line includes three varieties: Mexican style tuna, Mediterranean style tuna and Thai style tuna.

Frank Pogue, VP of marketing and innovation at StarKist commented: “With the introduction of Gourmet Selects Tuna Pouches, we’re bringing convenience to the gourmet food category. By combining global flavours with premium quality tuna, we are further elevating the way Americans think about seafood.”
Retailing for approximately US$1.69 per pouch, the Gourmet Selects pouch line can be found in the shelf stable tuna section, the company said.
