US organic meal-kit delivery service Sun Basket is ramping up its management team with the appointment of Stuart Huizinga as its first CFO and Isobel Jones as first general counsel.

The new hires follow the announcement earlier this month Unilever had headed a round of investment into Sun Basket.

Huizinga most recently spent 16 years as CFO of online health insurance business eHealth.

Sun Basket said Jones is a former executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of US snack maker Diamond Foods.

Meanwhile, Sun Basket said former Yelp CFO Rob Krolik had agreed to join the company’s board and serve as audit committee chairman.

“Each new member of the Sun Basket team brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise within their respective career fields that will continue to develop the company’s financial foundation as it grows its business on a national scale,” the company said.

The latest investment round in the business featured Unilever Ventures, the venture capital and private-equity arm of the consumer goods giant. US venture-capital firms Baseline Ventures and Founders Circle Capital were also involved.
