Swedish grocery retailer and distributor Axfood has appointed Hans Holmstedt as its acting purchasing director.

The company said today (13 June) that he replaces the current purchasing director Mats Sjodahl, who is leaving for another assignment.

Holmstedt is currently head of Axfood’s fruit and vegetables business area and has been with the company since 2005. He will become a member of Axfood’s executive committee.
