Lönnroth has worked at the ICA Group for 18 years, where he has held several senior positions.
He will take on his new responsibilities at PrisXtra on 1 September.
PrisXtra’s current president, Magnus Lundin, has decided to leave the company to pursue “other challenges”, Axfood said.
