Swedish retailer Axfood has booked an increase in third-quarter earnings and reiterated its full-year profit guidance.
In the three months to the end of September, net profit totalled SEK294m (US45.9m), a 10.5% increase on the prior year period. Operating profit was up 3.2% to SEK382m.
Consolidated sales totalled SEK9.46bn an increase of 4.7% on last year, while like-for-like sales were up 2.3%.
Axfood said it expects full-year operating profit to be “at least at the same level as in 2012”.
