Swedish confectionery firm Cloetta Fazer has appointed Peter Åsberg to director of its Scandinavian operations (Sweden, Norway, Denmark) and Chris Kreimer to marketing director.
Åsberg has served as marketing director for the group since 2003, and will continue to be a member of the group management team in his new position. Prior to joining Cloetta Fazer in 2003, Åsberg was president of Coca-Cola in Sweden and later in Finland.
Chris Kreimer will also be a member of the group management team. Kreimer has been employed by Cloetta Fazer since November 2004 when she was appointed as area marketing director for Cloetta Fazer in Sweden, a position she will continue to hold.
The company said director of Scandinavian operations is a new post that has been created – in line with the company’s vision – to further strengthen Cloetta Fazer’s position as the Nordic region’s leading confectionery company. By coordinating its operations, Cloetta Fazer hopes to better focus on the Scandinavian market as a whole and enhance its collaboration with the food retail trade.
