The European Commission has cleared Swiss food giant Nestlé’s Swedish joint venture with Finnish food group Ingman Foods.
The deal was cleared under the EU’s simplified merger procedure, reported AFX News.
The companies announced in October that they planned to set up a 50/50 joint venture in the Swedish ice cream market. The new company, Svenska Glasskiosken, is to market, sell and distribute the two companies’ ice cream products in Sweden.
