Representatives of regional cooperatives, which met at their annual gathering on Saturday (28 March), approved the proposal by an overwhelming majority, Migros said.
Migros found that, while customers appreciate on-pack pricing, on-shelf pricing is also seen as a valuable tool, as consumers are able to identify and compare prices quickly and easily.
The scheme will be implemented over the next two years, the company said.
