Pork, chocolate and pasta are among the lines on which Swiss retailer Migros has cut prices from today (5 October).

The company said it had cut prices on over 500 products in a bid to show consumers that they can find value at its stores.

Migros said its shoppers were now spending 15% than elsewhere as the company continues to pass on lower advertising and logistics costs to consumers.

“Overall, significant reductions granted this year by Migros already represent a sum of more than CHF100m (US$96.7m),” the company said.
